USC’s Pro Day- Mark Sanchez, and Rey Maualuga raise their stock for the upcoming draft

As for the quarterback sweepstakes, it looks like the Seattle Seahawks, and Jacksonville Jaguars are both very interested in Mark Sanchez. One took him to out to lunch while the other dinner, and both camps came away impressed, and might make Sanchez, a wildcard pick that could alter, and create chaos for the rest of the draft.
Matt Stafford has been selected #1 in the upcoming draft predictions since its first rough draft. The problem with Stafford, he’s performed great, but not as the overwhelming number one pick, or rather the number one quarterback. This has been Sanchez’ advantage, and he’s using it. What Stafford lacks, Sanchez is trying to prove to coaches he has. Leadership in the form of a charismatic, competitive individual who can lead a team, and do the impossible on the field. He needs to posses the rare, x-factor that Joe Montana, Tom Brady, and Brett Favre displayed on the field, which drove defensive coordinators crazy. It Sanchez can convince his x-factor ability, one should not be amazed if he’s drafted in the top five in the NFL draft.
The other Trojan who solidified his status to be a first round pick is Rey Maualuga. His poor 40 time in the NFL Draft Combine, probably dropped him a tad from the other three Trojan’s superstar linebackers in the speed category. After watching the other three linebackers, and his other USC Trojan’s teammates run the 40; Rey Rey wanted to do it, too. So, he decided that he would attempt to run it after the pro workout, and he did it in a great time 4.68.
