Our NFL draft Contest was a huge success, and I would like to thank all of you who took the time to submit your predictions.

The Winners accurate, or close prediction of Mark Sanchez gave them the lowest point total of the entries. They all won the ESPN’s DVD of the 2009 Rose Bowl Game between Penn State vs USC.

Swag-ger

1. to walk or strut with a defiant or insolent air.
2. to boast or brag noisily.

I looked at several teams that could be consideration for your swagger team of the week award.

1. Oklahoma not only destroyed, but man handled Texas Tech. I heard even Bobby Knight cried.
2. Utah beating BYU and keeping their BCS dreams alive.

BUT,  the team that displaced the ability to come back on the road against a tough Arizona defense without their starting quarterback Lyle Moevao and star player Jacquizz Rogers is simply unbelievable.

Pure Swagger

After their placekicker Justin Kahut missed the extra point,  who would have thought or dreamed the Beavers would get another opportunity to keep their Rose Bowl dream alive?

As a hardcore USC fan who grew up and currently lives in Los Angeles, I didn’t want to see another USC Rose Bowl. If USC makes it to the rose bowl for another consecutive year, I’m going to firmly place a USC flag on a flag pole on a hill around Pasadena. As a former Pasadena City College cross-country runner, these trails were my second home while in junior college and I know the precise location to place the flag.

Oregon St. with their victory against Arizona made it possible for my trek to be hauled for now.
