The tide has turned in Minnesota. Taravis Jackson was hit on his right knee by Ravens linebacker Antwan Barnes and could be out for a while. This leaves Minnesota quarterback position with a huge question mark that even Adrian Peterson can’t fix.

Three quarterbacks will fight for the job: Brooks Bollinger, Gus Frerotte and John David Booty. Gus Frerotte looks like the most posed to be the starter with 15th year’s NFL experience. Brooks Bollinger had a chance last year when Jackson went down and was wildly inconsistent. He finished with a quarterback rating of 88.0.

Gus Frerotte will be given the starting job, but how much gusto does Gus have? Hopefully, he can play like the Old Frerotte that led the Redskins to the playoffs?

He could have a Brett Favre year. Who needs retirement? He should call Brett to see what type of water and food he ate all of last year. We could write it into a book, make millions and get it endorsed by Oprah and Martha Stewart.

An amazing felt if it were to happen considering Frerotte finished with a quarterback rating of 58.3. It probably not going to happen and it leaves John David Booty with the Willy Wonka ticket.

He stepped in a difficult situation at USC trying to follow up Matt Leinart and Carson Palmer. Luck is on his side now and he has a chance to heir the Metrodome just like Charlie did.
