Here’s your College Football BCS Bowl Color Meter Polls. This is second to last poll and the final polls will come after the bowl games are finished. No huge difference within the polls except Florida’s victory over Alabama and Oklahoma gained a slight push over Texas in the final BCS Polls.

It’s tough to argue a case against Texas not playing in the BCS Championship since they beat Oklahoma. Texas lost a close game to Texas Tech and if I were Texas, I would blame the loss on Michael Crabtree who had an unbelievable game for the Red Raiders.

Usc will play Penn St in the Rose Bowl. I’d love to see USC in another bowl besides the Rose Bowl, but the BCS gods want USC to play in their 4th straight Rose Bowl. When all is said and done, this Rose Bowl will be a memoirable game. You have the ageless Joe Paterno making his first trip to Pasadena as a coach. It’s ironic that Joe Paterno has to make his Rose Bowl with the help from the BCS computer.

I bet if you told Joe Paterno fifteen year’s ago that his Nittany Lions would make the Rose Bowl due a computer called the BCS; he could have called you crazy and out of your mind.

The most intriguing match-up should be Utah vs Alabama. Nick Saban’s wants to prove that Alabama back to greatness in the SEC and Utah wants to demonstrate its 12-0 record is no fluke.

The BCS poll is wrapping up and it looks like it will between a SEC team and Big 12 team. the The winner from the Florida and Alabama game will most likely play Oklahoma if they can beat Missouri. I love to see Florida play Oklahoma, since both teams are currently playing great football. I’ll give the edge to Florida whose defense has been consistent while Oklahoma D gave up 41 points to Oklahoma State.

As for the USC Trojans, the Oregon State lost sets up as possible match-up with Penn St in another Rose Bowl match-up. USC playing in the Rose Bowl for the last couple of years reminds me of a video game. One should call this game:

USC’s Rose Bowl 4-2008 Edition.

USC takes on a team who last played in the Rose Bowl in 1995. They come in with their legendary coach Joe Paterno whose looking for a Nittany Lion victory to be the icing to his cake of an unbelievable career. The Trojans’ come in with a chip on their shoulder and would like to prove the BCS critics wrong about their loss against Oregon St.  USC 42-10

It’s amazing to see how much gray is left in the polls since the beginning of the season. Alabama, Florida and Georgia are the only three SEC teams left in the polls compared to the 5-6 teams when the season started. The Pac-10 has 3 teams: USC, Oregon, and Oregon St. Big 12 has the most with 5: Texas, Oklahoma, Oklahoma St, Texas Tech, and Missouri.
