Can LeBron James take the New York Knicks to a NBA title?

2008 November 26

LeBron James to the Cleveland Cavaliers New York Knicks. I’ll recently saw this LeBron interview with Stephen Smith and wanted to look at Lebron facial and body language to see if one can determine by it if he’s going to stay in Cleveland or take the big move to the Garden.

(0:49 Mark) Direct eye contact: First true confidence image of LeBron. He looks Stephen Smith directly in the eye about how he wants to win a NBA Championship.
(1:53 Mark) Blinks three times and shuffles his eyes: When LeBron is asked about New York
(2:11 Mark) moves his head to the left and right
(2.08 Mark) licks his lips

which all demonstrates a lack of confidence in his answer.

Yes, LeBron you have thought about becoming the King of New York and this opportunity seems rare.

A life-time opportunity and possibly a life-time movie.

The Knicks are a joke and haven’t been great since the days of Patrick Ewing, John Sparks, and Charles Oakley.

Isiah Thomas couldn’t rescue the Knicks neither could

Spike Lee in his outrageous court side attire.

Lifting of his eyebrows: Giving a honest opinion about the free-agency market in 2010.

(2:50 Mark) Glances to the upper-left while talking: When asked about Cleveland,  he glances to his upper-left before he starts to talk which gives the viewer as a lost of creditability since he’s not simply glancing away, but looking away from all direct eye contact.

(2:55 Mark) Direct eye contact: You can clearly his confidence in his voice and direct eye contact when discussing how grateful he’s of his career in Cleveland.
