    USC beat West Michigan in the first round of the Diamond Head Classic 55-51.

    Mike Gerrity lead the team with 17 points while Marcus Johnson, Dwight Lewis, and Nikola Vecevic had 10 points apiece for the Trojans.

    Tomorrow, The Trojans will play in the second round against St.Marys at 5:00 pm EST on ESPNU.
