USC offers Cody Kessler, a Bakersfield quarterback, a scholarship to become the latest top quarterback prospect to wear the Cardinal and Gold. If accepted, he can follow the path of other former great USC quarterbacks: Carson Palmer, Matt Leinart, Matt Cassel, and Mark Sanchez.

Carson Palmer has been playing on all cylinders for the Cincinnati Bengals this year.

Who would have expected them to win three road game against the Steelers, Ravens, and Packers, and be first place in the AFC North? Carson Palmer should be considered as a contender for the MVP and the Bengals are a team to be reckoning with for the rest of the NFL season. Fight On, Carson!

Former Trojan Carson Palmer ready for the new NFL season to begin after playing only four games last season.

"We’ve got a great opportunity ahead of us," Marvin Lewis said. "That’s the exciting part. We get Carson back. He’s obviously chomping at the bit. He just wears me out every day, because he wants to win very, very badly, and we’ve got to get some more people around him."

It’s good to see Carson preparing, and practicing for the upcoming season, and hopefully the Bengals can get him some protection with their sixth pick in the draft.

An interesting note, the NFL could start 3 or 4 different Former Trojan’s quarterback in the NFL. Carson Palmer, Matt Leinart if Kurt Warner signs elsewhere, Matt Cassel if he wins the opportunity over Tom Brady, and Mark Sanchez; depending on where he ends up.
